Impact
Every day you have an impact. We impact ourselves, others, places and issues around us. Are you aware of the impact you're having? Or what you want your impact to be?
We’re at risk of falling short on the full impact we uniquely have to offer if we're not deliberate about our impact. Individually and collectively our impact can have major positive or negative influence on our wellbeing, our workplace, or on changes we want to make for others or the community. To have a meaningful impact we need to be impact ready!
Impact Ready is all about being aware of and deliberate about the impact we have on ourselves and others. It's having the skills, mindset and presence that to treat ourselves and others better, so we're really impacting for change. When you treat yourself better you'll have the energy needed create a sustainable impact.
Focussing on our impact goals, and being aware of our tendencies and skills gaps, can help us address what's hold us back (London et al 2023). Leaders and teams who are impact ready engage better and are more productive, resilient and engaged.
Are you impact ready? Are you treating yourself better every day to genuinely impact and boost your energy and your team's leadership, wellbeing and success?
Make a commitment to improve your impact on 3 levels:
Personal Impact: Your mindset is impacting your outlook and wellbeing. How you treat yourself will directly affect your capacity to impact every situation. The better we understand who we are, our reputation and the impact we have on people and change, the more resilient and adaptive we can be - even when the pressure of high performance is on (Eurich 2017, 2018; Park & Park 2019). We can work with you to develop your mindset, motivation and influence through practical strategies that improve your personal impact.
Interpersonal Impact: Our decisions and actions impact others through every interaction we have with them. We are often not consciously aware of the way we influence those around us. Being impact ready is knowing how to act with intent to increase the effectiveness of your interpersonal and leadership skills that make work and life more enjoyable. When we enjoy what we are doing in the moment, we are much more likely to stick to achieving our goals (Woolley & Fishbach 2017a). Work with us to make a difference that is transformational through your engagement of others.
Ambitious Impact: What makes your impact meaningful? Are you contributing to bigger changes in the workplace, your community, family or industry? Are you creating and driving change that is bigger than you? We can develop strategies to act with intent from an impact ready state. This will improve the leadership we give and inspire in others to build shared courage and tackle big challenges. Be ambitious in your goals by knowing how to consistently show up and have an authentic impact.
